I know there is another thread open that has a different experience and I do not want to be a part of that poop storm.

I recently emailed about a knife and was able to call Darrell and speak to him. While my budget limited me from the initial knife I was looking at, I was able to purchase a different knife of interest to me. My conversation with him was very pleasant and I received my knife in a very prompt fashion. The knife was as promised and I am very pleased with our deal.

While I understand others may have a different experience, I wanted to share mine.

I don't have a horse in this race, but it is always nice to hear positive feedback. It seems like the only time people make threads is when they have had a negative experience with a company, even though there may be thousands of experiences that are good.
 
i bought an htm from a dealer here and while i liked the knife overall i had some lock and detent issues out of the box... i emailed ddr/htm and they VERY quickly repaired my knife and returned it to me (now it's perfect!)

i was so happy with lacey and darrel's handling of my situation and obviously the knife itself that i've enlisted him to make a custom blade for me. i couldnt be happier with their products and customer service.
 
I also had to contact Lacey several times about one of the kit Balisongs sold through a certain knife kit site. I won't go into detail but I will say that the particular knife kit I recieved should not have made it through QC. While it took a few back and forths to get me sorted she was always quick to respond and answer any question I had. And she ended up getting me worked out just fine. Excellent CS, now if they could get their QC act together they would be set.
