This just came back from the DDR health spa. Hollow ground (8" wheel) D2. This one is very old and possibly one of the very first. It has "DDR" faintly stamped into the bevel on the presentation side but it does not show up in pics. Darrel and I believe it to be at least 9 years old.

Since it has come back, it has only been opened and oiled with Hoppes.

I'm asking $550.... Now $450, a great deal compared to what I paid.

Any scraches on the blade and the handle?

Is the logo the square type? Why is it faint?

What exactly did Darrel do to the knife?

The knife is not mint. Since it has been serviced, it has not been carried or used.

Any scraches on the blade and the handle?
The blade is perfect. Tiny scratch on the clip near the middle hole. Tiny nick on the handle. Below it is not a scratch... cat hair.

Is the logo the square type? Why is it faint?
Not sure why it's very faint. Here's better pics.

What exactly did Darrel do to the knife?
Cleaned some oxidation off the blade, fine sharpening, total cleaning and teardown.
