Yep, that's probably it. I didn't know you would have to get your loupe out to see it. Didn't mean to put you through all that. Mine is very visible with the naked eye. Stands out like a sore thumb, in fact. Not in a bad way but it's very easy to see. I was curious if you could see yours as easily.

Rick, it was no problem at all---I'm always pulling the loupe out for something knife-related. I can't see the bronze color with the naked eye, though---but my naked eyes may be weaker than yours!
In any event, the great walk and talk on the Humpback is another of its enjoyable features. I guess the phosphor bronze bushing gets some of the credit.
