• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

De-Humping My Case Humpback Stockman

Rick, it's hard to see in that little crack! But with the help of my trusty lighted loupe, I can make out a bronze colored streak, sort of mottled, in the otherwise gray metal. Is that it?

Yep, that's probably it. I didn't know you would have to get your loupe out to see it. Didn't mean to put you through all that.:o Mine is very visible with the naked eye. Stands out like a sore thumb, in fact. Not in a bad way but it's very easy to see. I was curious if you could see yours as easily.

Thanks for taking a look, Andrew. I appreciate it.

Rick, it was no problem at all---I'm always pulling the loupe out for something knife-related. I can't see the bronze color with the naked eye, though---but my naked eyes may be weaker than yours!

In any event, the great walk and talk on the Humpback is another of its enjoyable features. I guess the phosphor bronze bushing gets some of the credit.
