I have just discovered Enedino (spelling?) De Leon knives while surfing some knife sites.

Never handled one or seen them before but I really like what I see. I did a search here to see what I could find out about this brand and it seems that there may have been some fit and finish issues early on.

Does anyone here have recent experience with his knives? What are they like now.

I would appreciate any first hand feedback from those that own or at least have handed his knives.

Cheers

Mike Murphy at mlds@tm.net is a dealer for De Leon knives. He usually sells 'em on the bay.

I owned a couple and even custom ordered one (a VN with extra features) when De Leon took custom orders. They were all great. Quality was exceptional and a very good value.

The lines of his double edge daggers is just incredible.

I have dealt with Mr De Leon in the past. I had ordered 2 knives from him, both where flawless.

He was a pleasure to work with and met the dead lines he had set for my knives.

Excellent value for the money. Nothing super fancy , just a good working knife.

Jim Behring (also a very good maker, along with his son Jim Jr.) stocks them quite often and I'm sure he'd be glad to answer any questions. Go to his site www.treemanknives.com for contact info.
