i'm going to attempt to swap a clip point blade for a drop point on my akc shell puller. i'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a best way to de-pin? i have access to a drill press and a dremel, which i figure will be the easiest way. if someone has a better method i would be interested to know. ----thanks

File the head flush. You can also drill or grind it off. Then punch the pin out.
When reassembling, you need to find a shim to use with a vise to push the blade back into position. The new pin needs to be an exact fit, or you will have blade peek. Taper the end of the pin to make it easier to line everything up.
