This is a large recurve bowie I just finished up, I have had this one drawn up for a while and I finally got around to doing it.
It was largely inspired by the choppers of Burt Foster and Tad Lynch.
It has what I would call a working hand rubbed finish down to 320, with very light forge remnants visible.
The handle is OD green canvas micarta with ss pins and thong tube. The blade is 1/4 5160 at 9.5", with an OAL of 15.25".
It is definitely a beast, it probably won't win any beauty contests but should make one heck of a workhorse!
Here are the specs.

OAL - 15.25"
Blade - 9.5"
Steel - .250" 5160 (All heat treat is done by me in a digitally controlled Evenheat kiln)
Handle - OD green canvas micarta
Pins - .250" Stainless
Sheath - 10oz veg tan leather, sheath has removable scout carry "harness". It can be worn strong side, weak side, or horizontal small of back.
Price - SOLD! (free priority shipping in the conus) insurance extra.
Paypal preferred to, bentendick@gmail.com
or money order.
Thanks for looking!
