Hey guys I just wrapped up (pun intended) this unique version of my Peregrine tomahawk. This is the same beefy 3/8" thick powerhouse, as my standard model; but i decided to give it some extra style with a Black Ito over red Hemp wrap. The wrap is soaked in West systems G/flex epoxy so is rock solid and ready for hard use. It has a polished edge that is shaving sharp.
The quick release kydex sheath holds the hawk solidly in, but is a snap to remove. The whole thing is hardened and tempered to 55rc, I then spring temper the tang for extra toughness.
Here are the specs.
Oal - 11"
Head length - 5 1/4"
Cutting edge - 3"
Steel - 3/8" 4140 through hardened to appx. 55rc with a spring tempered tang for extreme durability and toughness.
Handle - Black Ito wrap with Red hemp cord underwrap. G/flex epoxy soaked, and is rock solid with a natural look.
Sheath - Kydex w/ quick release bungee retention. This is setup for Molle loks or belt loops, I can add either for slightly more.
Price - $425 + $13 shipping
