Purchased from a dealer in Japan who told me it is from '91 or '92.
Clip point, hollow ground, aus-8.
Blade is still scary sharp. Hair whittling.
The fit and finish is better than any knife I've personally ever seen. The blade geometry, symmetry, centering, finishing details and the fit of the blade against the back-spring makes the knife appear to be a full-tang fixed blade when open it is that flush.
Gorgeous little piece that fits easily in the pocket or in the perfectly fitted leather sheath.
