T Rex Davidson and I have had some very strange interactions by email. I won't bore you with the details. Basically, he made a return, I provided a refund (by credit card) and he refused to acknowledge or believe that he had gotten a refund. He did a chargeback and, apparently, it was denied because he already had a refund. That in itself is unusual. Normally, he would get a second refund from the bank and I would have to fight tooth and nail to get it back.
His approach was to send me two cheap K Mart kitchen knives that he had bent in a vise along with a copy of the invoice for $156 for his original purchase of Spyderco and Kershaw folders. He sent it certified mail so that he would have a signature in order to start the chargeback process again.
No amount of gross profit on a sale is worth dealing with this individual. Not only is he a thief (or at least trying to become one) but he is also a little soft around the edges based on the multi page threatening emails he has sent me. Dealers beware. He won't be able to do it to us again but he may try to strike someone else.
