Dealing with Kydex scratches

Anybody try 2000 grit wet sanding on them,works great:thumbupolished'em right off.....

FYI the scratches are not from the kydex, it is much too soft. They are from teh crud that gets in the sheath. My kydex sheathed knives are users so I don't mind scratches.

Not to sound like a jerk, i think he meant scratches on the sheath itself.
