Deals for 1/20 --Pix, Knives, Hats, Jola and Great Buys

The '10' refers to the blade length in inches; I had asked Yangdu to have a custom blade made in October last year which combined the guard/handle design of Yvsa's Baby Cherokee Rose mated to a 10inch long 'D' style blade.

Shortly after ordering the knife which Yangdu and myself decided to call the D1-10 Rose to acknowledge its origins, I made several other purchases and decided not to proceed with the custom knife, and thought that was the end of the idea.

So you can imagine my surprise and delight upon seeing the 'project' completed and in a dotd thread and it still being unsold. Needless to say I emailed immediately and Yangdu has confirmed it is mine. :D

Hopes this helps background its history.

Very nicely. Thanks!

the D-10 Rose....

Will, this here IS the thread !

This is the first offering of the D-10 Rose and my above posts recount its very short history.

Regarding the history of its parents, the Cherokee Rose Bowie, start here:

For the 'D' series Bowie's read Nicholas's Missing Pages Thread, and to my knowledge there has only been one release of Baby Cherokee Rose Bowies, that being in late July 2009. I purchased mine from this dotd post:
