Deals for 1/23 --Pix, Blems and Huge Savings

No, as soon as I got the email that said "done deal" I hit her back on the KK and of course it was GONE.....first one just ordered and I'm already hooked!!!

Next I need to find out how to repair a cracked horn handle......

If you stop at one your a far better man than I, actually if you stop at 6 your a far better man than I.

Quote of the day!

Few years ago, I remotely heard about HI. Back then I lurked at their site and told myself... Meh... Maybe some day I'll order one just to see.

Since I ordered my first one few months ago... They keep coming one after the other.
I'm starting to wonder if it is some sort of disease.

Congrats Rebel Nimrod! You should be pleased! Cant go wrong with Rajkumar! That one is a beast at 35oz. We can help you get the handle repaired when ready. Be sure and check out the stickies at the top of the forum on the care and feeding of these Khuks. They are hardened at or near 60 at the sweet spot but are softer near the tip and towards the handle so you want to be careful where you chop especially with 20 inches of steel. Hardness can vary between Kamis slightly but Rajkumar is very consistent and is among the best there is. That length of blade really feels alive in the hand. I have one almost identical by Tirtha Kami and love it. Welcome to the forum by the way and feel free to post pics when you get your Chit. Sorry! Im responsible for snagging that Kumar Karda. Id almost give it up to ya if it werent so dang pretty:D

Thanks ndoghouse for the kind and educational words, I always love to learn about knives! You have made me down right Giddy now about this new beast! I will definately post some pictures...and I don't blame you for hold'n onto that KK, it IS a beauty!

Youre very welcome! I told myself i wouldnt buy another KK until one of the carved ones came up but my other one is horn and this wood one came up and well that was that. These blades do get addictive so be prepared. And so does the forum...speaking of which i just noticed i opened my big mouth and posted over a thousand times on this forum. Hmmm? I guess this Kumar Karda is going to be a special one for me! Khul!!! see it is addictive:D

Well crap, gonna be a race for a carved KK huh? Hmmmm.

On the bright side the KK's seem to come up semi regularly. Little consolation on the day of the loss but given a few days it seems to help. Historically on the days I make a score something even better usually follows within a day or too also. A certain nameless Hanshe comes to mind. Seems to be a gosh darn pattern here somehow.

It's a tangled web this HI khuk stuff but no place I'd rather be.

I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on that Chit too. I have a 24" Siru that I thought was lively but I got a 24" Chit and I do believe it's even livelier if that's possible. I know your gonna love it, that's a no brainer right there.

I missed all kinds of rare stuff when I was new here because i thought it would be a normal item. Lets see... Seax, Haisya, Munk Chunk Bowie, Kerambit, carved KK, Fox Folly and others come to mind. and yes Bawanna never fails when you snag something there is always something up the next day or so ya gotta have:thumbup:

You think it's one of them thar caanspiracys. Auntie has somehow taken control of our minds and controls us like pawns in a pawn shop? I'm perfectly fine with that. If she can control my mind with so little to work with she's real good.

I am still looking for hasiya and most of those you mentioned ndog, I weeeep

Seax, man that thing is so primitive looking....it's like some prehistoric shark! Love to have one of those!

I might have to start a new thread on that.

Seax is so Khul! There was a guy recently asking about a longer one something like 12 inches that would be cool to have. I even saw an older thread about a Giant Seax at 24" i think. Wish I had one to go with my Giant Chitlangi Bowie. Also Rebel I forgot to mention another primitive cool one and that is the Spear Vala! Love the primative ones! Soon as HI catches up on some stock and getts settled from the new move and manager etc. I hope they start making more of this stuff.
I need to find me a second job then to support my addiction:D
