Deals for 1/3 -- Pix and Five Beauties

+1 on Vim and his M43 models. I will get another by him some day. I noticed this one is a bit longer than usual at 20 3/4" yet still under 30 oz. I would love to have this one even though it exceeds what I consider my personal maximum practical length limit for a solid "field kuk" of 18" . Very nice.

lol... i think you got the size and weight mixed with the rose :p
OAL on the m43 17in and 27oz. :)

that's an awesome first khuk.

if it wasn't taboo around these parts i'd be inclined to say it's an awesome only khuk. course i'd never encourage such a thing.

Maybe, but he got one. We all know what that means...
(except for him... mouhouhouahahahahahah)

Argg! That Rusty knife was just what I was looking for! And with a great HI style sheath!
Oh well, late this time, but the chum is in the water.........

the baby BDC was an excellent first khukuri...
infact, it was my fiances first HI purchase also
i wish i started with something like that :D

be warned though... after receiving that one your going to crave for more :)
may i suggest something in the 15"+ range ;)

happy HIKV

I leave a friend of Rusty's to explain that, but the HI style sheath is a scabbard, wood wrapped in buffalo leather. normally, the sgain dubh is sold with a leather sock for a sheath.

it would go very well with that antler tarwar you snagged ;)

You must be thinking of the Texas Eric. (No worries - an easy way to remember the difference: I'm the good-looking one. :D )

( .... and the poor one. :) )

Eric
