Is the $130.00 the new price???

Yep. When the special hit it was at $145. Given the going price of the 12" models $130 is very fair. Good eye there Munk.

Oh how cruel the fates ! What looks like the perfect one for me is there and still unspoken for ! Foul beasty sharks , I,m not even telling you which one in the off chance one of my neighbors pops over to tell me he needs one of my kidneys at any price .

That would be the Pen entrenching tool. I love it:D

I know money is tight for every one. Sometimes the price seems high, but really it is not.

I have not handled a HI khukuri that wasn't worth every penny I paid for it. Most of my purchases are over the $100.

My first deal of the day buy was a M43 years ago, for $145.00. Now that is the catalog price.

So choke up, and anti up. ;)

You don't have to have Paypal, just promise to pay and don't forget to do it. Here is Bill Martino's post, which is a sticky. Doesn't hurt to see it again.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING. Please read!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a typical email I get.

Monkeyman@aol.com writes: Hey, Uncle, I want that PGA.

What PGA?

Who is Monkeyman?

Where am I to ship what?

How does Monkeyman intend to pay?

When you want to order something via email:

1) Tell me what you want. Be specific -- model and PGA number and date. Tie it down. Don't say I want that PGA.

2) Stick in your name and address even if you're an old timer. This lets me know who you really are instead of Monkeyman. And, if you stick the address in the email I can copy it right onto your mailing label and don't have to dig thru the files to find it.

3) Tell me how you want to pay -- I'm going to use paypal. I'm going to send a check. I'm going to buy something off the shopping site for an equal amount. I'm going to send you 2 cases of home brew as a trade. Send it COD.

Following this simple procedure will save us both time and effort and a lot of senseless emailing back and forth trying to tie the order down and loose ends up.

Call or Email with the following:

1 - Full Name
2 - Payment method
3 - Shipping Address
4 - Knife wanted

The first one to get all 4 right, gets it!

Well I bought my khukri using visa. :)

Lol, that's brutally simple :) For companies that don't have secure servers, I send a jpg scan of my credit card. I do it at about twice normal size and send it in an e-mail. As a jpg, it has no identifiable signs that it is my credit card details as it goes through the internetwork.

I have been lucky enough to be in on time of a few of these sales recently but nothing has me jazzed. I want a Chitlangi but for $125, it is too rich for my blood. I intend to use it hard so I think I will hold out for a Villager. I am also waiting for a Seax. Sombody got the one I wanted a few weeks ago!

IIRC, I paid $125 for a villager chitlangi.... It's one of my favorites, I work out with it all the time.

None available at list at the moment (M43)... I really want a 15" village Pen with black horn handle. And, of course, I wouldn't be averse to an 18" BDC with black horn handles... I'm not a big fan of the 18" BDC (though that may change if I ever get hold of one), but BDCs look magnificent in shiny black horn...
