Fabulous work here. Look at that BDC. WOW. The pk is really nice too. Two days in a row there. Tapped out. Getem sharks.

New size on the Katunje! All previous have been 13" except the one special 18"er from 1/20. Lovely stuff!

I just got caught up today from the last two weeks though! Sigh...

Well, that took 19 whole minutes! Good, gives me no chance to change my mind. (Sob!)

I suspect our new member medbill did a clean sweep... :D

I wish somebody would post a field report with pics on one of these 15" Pen Knives.

i'm wondering how they chop and the size of the sweet spot compared with an AK or or BAS or GTS or iffy/maybe BDC/folly of same size/weight...

then again, i'm hankering for a 20-22 inch AK villager with wood handle perhaps, though a chiruwa style might be better - love that full tang. yar.

I'm still new to all of this, but I do have a BAS to compare to the 15" Pen. The Pen weighs more, so it may not be a fair comparison, but it balaces well and is very easy to control, and it chops through 4-6" wood a lot better than the BAS. I got the Pen as my first khuk, and shortly thereafter picked up the BAS and a 20" sirupati. I'm fairly confident that no matter how many I pick up the Pen will be the most used. It is short enough that it is easy to handle, and robust enough to do just about anything I'd want it to.

I got one...the 18" BDC. And I was distracted and slow today. I logged into my mail account after four unsuccessful tries, created a message, typed the message, accidentally closed the browser window with the message, created another message, re-typed the message, realized I had tabbed out of the message window, went back to the message window and re-typed it again, decided I wanted to hold out for a village 15" pen and deleted the pen, then sent. Must've been fate...

Man, oh man, you guys don't mess about.

I didn't NEED that 18" AK anyways, want is another matter, LOL

Well done, Medbill. Started wearing a path to the mailbox yet??

Sorry Danny-san, I missed out on the one (Pen) yesterday to someone else and I feel your pain. I have a feeling more are on the way. I promise to not buy another for at least a month.
