i seem to see these things within a minute of their posting... i have no life lately ;) mmm, if y'all send me $500 each, i can be your online shopper ;) yah, that's the ticket. sometimes, it seems that's what it takes.

on the other hand, sooner or later, enough of us will have more than we need, more than we can gift, and maybe a "great swap meet" just for HI stuff among outselves might be cool? it's a thought.

Sounds like a great idea to me! A HI meet and greet, swap meet! I just happened to click on new posts and hit it minutes after they were posted. I thought I'd never see another and then BAM there is one today. Keep your eyes open and email in the draft folder at all times. LOL

There's only been a 3 or so 15" pens so far and at least 2 of them went to new sharks as welcome gifts to the forum! I am sure there will be more for the rest of us in time. I've got mine pictured in my mind so when it shows up I'll be sure to grab it.

I'm keeping track of the 15" Pens (at least of those mentioned here).

There have been 6 so far. 3 Villagers and 3 regular.

Yes, I'll bet they would be outstanding overall knives. Guess I forgot the Villagers! But now that you mention it Eric I do recall at least one.

(Geez, I must be getting senile! I even posted about it here less than a month ago in post #4: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=381199&highlight=pen Told you this would happen as we get more and more new models!)

I like the finished ones for the most part, as you can always give then a satin finish if you want. I remember two finished ones in the hill walnut and one chandan I think, but the plain wood of the villagers looks great.
