Beautiful sword I have the kantana with that handle but I like this one better. Nice catch

Shann, In my opinion, that sword is one of the best that HI has come out with. It's a good 'un.

I was hesitant at first as there seems to be a very slight 'high spot" in the middle of the blade, but I loaded the pic into Photoshop and rotated it and it is much less noticeable. Steve, do you see what I mean? But I don't know enough about swords to know if this would have any effect at all on performance. I doubt that it would.

Great looking sword.

Hi Norm,
In the top picture, it looks like there is some variation in the fuller near the center, but in the bottom pic I don't see it. Hard to tell with a mirror polished blade until you hold it in your hand. Did you get it, or did nsmg?

I did get it, and consider myself very lucky in doing so as I did not send mail until at least a couple hours had gone by! As you know Yangdu took a few hours off after posting, so I figured someone else had probably snagged it and it just hadn't been updated.

I don't have any swords of this size with carved chandan handles, and believe you got one a few weeks ago, so can't wait to see what it looks and feels like. I know from experience not to get one of this length without a full tang, as they don't balance well at all without one IMO.

Thanks,

Norm

Just got the AK Bowie today... I can't remember getting something off a list while there were still items on there that haven't sold. If I didn't have two already, I'd have grabbed that 12" chitlangi by now.
