Some real lookers today! A bit of cho creep on that Shaha special, but I like the lines. Somebody's gonna be happy.

Email sent on 8 inch 4 ounce Sarge Knife by Bura.

If you didn't own any knives, you could buy this whole lot and be covered for any situation.

Kumar Karda, Sarge Knife gone.

Guys, that $195 for the Berk's special is exactly what I spent for this knife in a smaller 18" version, and this is 21" and almost 2 pounds. As this knife went all day for $350 two years ago, there is no way this knife should ever sell for any less. Incredible work.

(This one also has less cho creep than the one the other day I think.)

I hope someone takes advantage of this deal before I do something drastic...

All gone....

Good, because I was just getting to hit SEND on an email to Yangdu for the Berk's Special. Thought I would refresh at the last minute, and everything is gone! Just what I needed, another Dui Chirra. Thanks to whoever for saving me $200...

But if Bura does another one I can't be held responsible. :)

And check this out, Norm- I don't own a Dui Chirra- never had the bread!! And now I'm saving for the special AK Bowie....

and I still need to replace the 27 -28 oz WWll I gave away....and the 28 oz Villager AK I gave away....OH, WOE IS ME!!!

How's a guy supposed to buy another firearm with all this going on?

These new pinned Dui Chirras are making me cast a critical glance at my old one, gathering dust on the wall as it is. I may have to trade it in for a new model...

You're welcome...though I wish you were faster.

I was late catching on and the Sarge was long gone. Then I kept looking at the Shaha. (I'd never heard of one and didn't find it in a search though I haven't tried the archives yet.) The more I looked, the more I kept seeing the big picture above it and noticed that the blades and handles and tools looked significantly different from the other dui chirra. And I kept waiting for it to go and it didn't and didn't and didn't and didn't...

If I'm not mistaken the Shaha is just an 18" AK with a nice handle, made for the Nepalese holiday I guess. (Oops, take it back. Way too light for that. Unless that should read 18" and 29 oz.? Both my 18" AK's are at least 28 oz. Sure looks like an AK though.)

So, I have to understand this: Didn't you snag the one from day before yesterday? So two identical Dui Chirras in 3 days? Man, I thought I was badly infected! Although they would make a beautiful matched pair on the wall. And your eye is correct; the tools are the same, but the antler on today's is much nicer.

But my criteria has always been that I can justify the expense and they are two totally different knives as along as the handles are different! No twins so far though...

Dave, as for the pin, don't worry about it. The light colored satisal on my 36 oz. DC is strong as hell and isn't going anywhere. It is a nice touch though, and reminds me of the handle pin on the Garud AK.

Regards,

Norm

OK, Munk, you got my attention. Special AK Bowie? Is this a special order, or one Dan is doing for you? Inquiring minds want to know!
