Westfork, glad you got the AK. It was calling my name VERY LOUDLY!!!

Jaiofspam, enjoy the stick knife, I like mine!

when will they quit with the kerambits?

when you buy one :D ... after you do, you wont salivate as much since you already own one...
but you still have to fight the urge to have 2 :)

EDIT: the baby chit villager is a good deal ($48)... somebody should jump on that one.

Just now saw it and sent Yangdu an e-mail trying to buy it (keeping my fingers crossed). What a cute little khuk, sort of like a souped up full (stick) tang Bilton that comes with a karda and chakma. Me likey :D

Good snag there Jai. Wonderful looking R-1, and it's the first one in horn without the pommel.

That's a wonderful AK as well.

You know, I keep missing these (which is just as well for my bank account!) That is the perfect wieght for a 20" CAK. Usually they are a bit too heavy.

It should be noted that the first standard 16.5" CAK's in antler and chandan (26 and 28 oz. respectively, sold by Uncle Bill) were also $145, so this is an exceptional bargain. This is one I wish I had snagged. Hopefully we will see more of these big AK's...

CONGRATS ON THAT ONE!!!

I'd been looking for a CAK of that size and weight. The best part is I just got home - my wife knew I wanted one and emailed Yangdu about it. It looks like it has a generous sized handle too.:)

You should love that R-1 Jai. I received a 16" 32.5 oz one in wood a couple days ago. The handle feels just right. The only problem is when you hold it it is difficult to resist chopping something - Don't unsheath it until you are outside or at least away from your furniture.

I would really love to see the look on my neighbors' faces as I strode casually around the yard with an R-1 at my side.

19.5 inch 40 ounce Chirua Ang Khola by Sher
WOW, that looks like a nice chopper indeed. I knew it would not remain unsold for long. I hope we see a field report on this beast.

Great to see these kerambits... they have a well-deserved following. Though it looks like a slicer (and is :D ) it can punch a mean hole too.

I know I love mine- it's my rough cutter for boxes and stuff. It wasn't getting used much til Dan Koster sent one of his awesome kydex sheaths my way, and now it's a go-to blade. Amazing what a difference the carry rig makes. Dan, you rock!

Mike

Thanks, Mike!

Just call me the Synthetic Sarki....:D

Can somebody find me a hat?

Man...that antler Chiruwa sure is a nice one!!
