Deals for 11/16 --Pix, Jaraya's horn handle Reti, MMB, KLVUK and Awesome Buys

Been busy, but the KK is coming home with me.

Jackal, email Auntie about a KLVUK, she likely has another. I have 2 myself, one for the car, one for the kitchen/apartment, and I've bought another for a friend. They are wonderful blades. Normally don't come with sheaths, but if you ask Auntie for one, you never know what she'll find!

As soon as the semester is over I will! They sound like great blades to have on hand. I'll have to hold of though due to end of the semester costs though. Due to my major, I don't just get to take a test and go home or print off a cheap essay. It makes me wish for the textbook problems people complain about. Getting back on topic; would I be able to just email and ask to get one next time they are available? It seemed like something I had to wait for it to come up in the forum.
 
Welcome dsanto! Im usually the first shark here but not today:rolleyes: I was busy being lazy, unmemployed,and slouching around the house barefooted! Hope ya got what you want. Those are both some great knives! That was a great deal for the KLVUK with a sheath, chak, and karda. I gotta get me a job quick so I can be punctual for the DOTD's like before:D
 
Jackal, usually I just email when I want it. With something like a KLVUK, there's usually a couple floating around. Same with say an AK or CAK. Heck, I picked up my Tamang sight-unseen, by emailing on a whim. That's now one of my favorites. Some people like to wait for DOD posts, I'm not always so patient. To each their own. Regardless your choice, I'm sure a KLVUK will find you sooner rather than later

That is a nice KK. Seems like it is one of those thinner ones like got posted a while back. Very nice. I would have picked that one up too given the chance.
 
Thanks for the endorsements on the KK guys! I can't wait to hold it. It reminds me of Cul's Yuvrav Western and Bawanna's blade that once had it's tip bent. Sorry that's how I remember it Bawanna, but I can't recall if its a KK or a Western or one of them Fish Knives I've heard about. Regardless, I like it a lot :) hope this feels as nice in hand as Cul's blade!
 
Mines a Western also and I'm happy to report the tip is returned to it's original perfection.

Mine has a rather radical bend in the handle which actually fits my mid section perfect if I wear it cross draw.
I may rehandle it one day. I kept my eyes peeled for a Jaraya so I could get his horns on the way to work but gosh durned if I could spot one.
It was pouring down rain and cold, might have all been bedded down in the woods staying dry I reckon.
