YAY! scored #2 :D
im waiting to see the difference between a tarwar also
besides the obvious difference of handle, sheath and OAL...
i wonder how its going to handle... i cant wait :)

Those are AWESOME! Beautiful- backwards? They look just right to me. Incredible prices, too.

hahaha these got posted just before I went to bed, for the first time in 3 days.
I agree with west, if they had chiruwa handles they would be awsome.

These look really nice and a good buy. I hope that someone posts more specs on them - like blade length and handle length. They look like great short swords.

OK, I'll take -

Overall length --24 1/4''
Weight -- 27 oz
Spine thickness -- 1/4''
Brass guard
Horn handle
Sisau wood scabbard
#3 $120

Email sent.

With the handle now attached properly in relation to the sharpened edge these look really really good. I like it more than the "unbackwards" model. If the handle was chiruwa style it would be a perfect small sword.

Yeah, like Lloyd said!:D They might not be a ginunting, but they ain't backwards no mo! This is really a great deal on a truly useful looking blade.

OK, #1 just arrived:D

24 1/4" long, 28.2 ounces, engraved horn handle with slight upward curve that swells nicely into the palm. It feels good in the hand and surprised me that the grip was large enough for positive control.
Balances at 5 1/2" in front of guard.
Blade straight and fairly sharp - easily pulls through paper.
Blade veers slightly to the right of the handle alignment (<.5" over 18" blade length). Not a big issue and not noticeable unless you look for it.
Feels like a machete in the hand.
A very useful blade:)

Blade: 18" long
1 3/8" wide at guard
1 1/2" wide over most of blade
3/8" thick at guard
1/4" thick on most of spine
3/16" thick from 5" back from tip to 1" from tip

Brass Guard: 2 1/8" tall
15/16" wide
1/4" thick

Handle: 6" long
4 1/8" clear between guard and end protrusion on bottom of handle
5 1/4" top curve length of handle
7/8" wide, 1 3/16" tall rounded rectangle in grip area

lol... yeah, it kinda reminds me of a latin machete :D
cant wait till mine arrives :)

thanks for the info westfork
