That jange is just a small step down (size and weight, not quality) from the big GRS. I used my jange this past weekend to chop up some old fence rails and it made short work of them.

This is one of the ones that's really grown on me. It's a bit longer than I'd like for tromping around in the woods but it's actually a very effective khukuri. Mine is long and light enough to handle brush without tearing up my elbow but it will still handle wood with no problems. (The edge was thin enough to worry me initially but it's solid.)

Of course, mine is only a partial tang and the newer ones seem to feature full tangs. They ought to be stronger and I'm willing to bet that the balance is a bit different. I'd consider the new handles to be an improvement.

Will post pix of an unusually good-looking antler Sarge.

The Sarge is an easier EDC than a JKM, though I like 'em both.

My apologies. Didn't intend to offend.

I wish I had gotten there in time. I need to get me a Sarge, and that antler one with the nicely shaped handle!:)

This is what I get for taking a day off! (-: Junge's have gone from a high of $145 for special wood ones without a full tang, to $125 for regular hidden tang models to an average of $95 for same. These are the best buys Hi has IMO. And now $85! But it is a "blem", which just means it will probably have no problems with that crack at all.

There have only been a few horn, and none that I know of with a full tang, so this was a great snag for someone. This is one model I waited and waited on, and for $125 finally got a gorgeous one with some beautifully grained USA walnut.

BUT, I actually had work to do yesterday, so couldn't get online at all to be tempted by this one.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all as well!

Norm

P.S. Good snag there Steve! That one was meant for you for sure.
