Got the Bonecutter today. The Sgt. is an artist! Despite the weight, the blade is very well balanced and therefore quite fast and controllable. The fit and finish are perhaps the best I have seen so far, including the sheath. The karda and chakma are very well-made too. If there is any complaint at all, it would be that the signature BC bell of the handle (the widest I have seen even compared to a big chitlangi), combined with the handle's short length, squishes my 4th and 5th fingers together ever so slightly. I know I will get used to that snug grip and I know that the balance benefits from that big bell, so no use nitpicking.
Thank you to the great Kami and Sarki and to kind Yangdu for making this possible!
Edit: According to my crappy scale, the weight of the blade alone is actually closer to 37oz.
