My first was an HI CAK. That was nearly 20 or so years ago. I dont recall exactly. Kumar was good then, only gotten better over the years.

A CAK by Purna was my first. I hate I wasn’t part of HI in the beginning but I’m not a newby to handforged knives. But I’m happy my travels led me to HI and all the wonderful friends I’ve acquired through this forum! You guys are the best!

Whenever anyone makes it here, it's a GOOD THING.

I started on BF as burgeoning knife maker. and bladesmith. Life threw me some hard inside fastballs...
and a curveball I didnt see.coming.

Now after a long time away, I came back.

I cant/dont buy often or much as I would like.

HI is one of those companies that takes care of its customers. They produce a product that is worth more than what you pay.

And these knuckleheads on the forum are top-shelf.
Just good peoples.
