They are not the standard item, and havent been made in awhile. You can always contact Yangdu about having one made. If enough people are interested in them, she may have a small run of them made.
 
I've been getting in touch with my Norse heritage lately, and the seax was kind of the standard "sidearm" in the viking age, and I remember thinking just a couple days ago "Man, I hope Yangdu gets a shipment of those in again." Next day, BANG! It's a DOTD, and I was shocked at how late I saw it and no one sharked it! It was meant to be!!


FWIW, I think on non-standard items like this (and maybe standard items) Yangdu usually gets a few in at a time, so if you email her, she may have more. She doesn't post her whole inventory on DOTDs.
 
The Seax was a good catch and that's pretty good synchronicity, Cpl Punishment. With me it seems they come on DOTD the day the day after I get one. Enjoy.

Oh man, I'm sooo broke after dropping $2600 on a tranny, but I soooo want that 12.5" UF. Don't think I ever recall seeing a "mini" before. LOVE IT!

And Cpl, good snag with the Seax. I been having the same heritage stirrings lately...my middle name is Thor. Seriously.
 
I also ordered that Seax yesterday when it came up. I was shocked it was still there after 20 minutes and it was almost mine, then I desided to get a backpack instead. Now my camping/Backpacking gear is almost complete. In a few more months I'll be able to buy knives when I want or save for that land I always wanted. Wonder which will win. :p LOL!!

Seriously, man, as much as I buy knives, BUY THE LAND.

They're making more knives, but not any more land.
 
Got my 'bit in today. It's the A design. When I ordered it I had no idea that they were undergoing a redesign. I like it. A sheath crafter told me that HI kerambits were as big as some others makers Bowies. Darned if he wasn't right.

I guess my only improvement suggestion would be to have the tang thinner in the handle. It's as thick as the tang on much bigger knives, and is a bit of overkill.

But in the end.....keep yer mitts off my 'bit.

Some time back I contacted Yangdu about a the Idea of smaller UF. She said that some would be made,
I bought 2, soon to arrive. I was thinking Khukri meets Bowie back cut with a dose of sharp pry bar.

Another neat one would be 12-14" UF with a UBE blade shape.

FEED the addiction!
