Deals for 2/10 --Pix Villagers and Good Buys

Well, apparently, the first person to take 'dibbs' on the Bone Cutter backed out, opening the door for me.

I want to thank you forumites here for chiming in about my questions, and for posting on other issues where I became more educated in this realm.

Thanks,

Crusty

You are most welcome, crusty. There is nothing better in life than learning and bettering the mind and soul. I think you will find many fine people to call friends here. I urge you to seek the postings of the founder of H.I., he is kind of a guru around here. Although he is no longer with us, his way of living has taught more than one forumite to strive for personal betterment.

I was a bit disappointed that I waited too long to email about the Bonecutter, and figured I wouldn't email anymore because it was spoken for... but apparently he backed out. You, sir, are one lucky gentleman to be snagging that lovely blade.

I, on the other hand, am kicking myself in the backside for waiting too long :grumpy:

Does it bother anyone else that someone has "backed out" after snagging khuks during the last two DOTDs? Similiar to what happened a while back which sure caused Auntie some grief. I try to figure out if I can afford a good sized purchase before I even look at the DOTD. Once you're there, your head's not in the right place for rational thought:D. Kind of like going grocery shopping while hungry. You come home with a bunch of twinkies and chips! Take care and God bless.

I'm not a long time member and not as regular a poster as some, but yes, JDK1, I agree with you. That is why I have the desire, but have not put a bid in for anything in the DOTD. I'm trying to get my "mad money" in order before I open my mouth. Maybe I'm kinda old fashioned that way, but I believe you are as good as your word. As for my missing out on a few great blades, I also believe that when the time is right, the right one will be there for me and I'll be ready for it. In the mean time, I'll sit, wait, listen and learn.
