Deals for 2/18 --Pix, Snow ASTK and Great Buys

(what does Chiruwa mean btw?)

Chiruwa means full/exposed tang (in Nepalese) running through slapped by 2 wood/horn scales, usually fastened by 2-3 rivets

I bought a CAK (chiruwa Ang Khola) as my first khuk, based on what I felt were my requirements and input from forum members.
It is absolutely awesome and met my expectations from what I had read of these knives.
I haven't been able to get into the woods with it yet, but preliminary work on a 2x4 tells me it is going to chop like a hatchet, but have the usefulness of a knife.
Unlike the others I will never be able to "shave hair" ( I'm not that good at sharpening khuks yet), but mine will shave your finger nail just fine and that's all I need in a work knife that will be mostly used for choppping.
Welcome.
