Deals for 2/5 -- Pix and Three Beauties

I see my arm bobbing on the surface a little ways away. I'll paddle over and get it. Don't do anything else, Sharks; I admit I shouldn't have tested the water with my hand in the first place, but I do have a .41 mag on board the raft for critters.
Since Zombiecation on the Brazos that one summer, I heal surprisingly fast.

You have seen the Great Whites breaching, of that I'am sure. Go ahead paddle over into the deep water and get that bait...err..your arm.

It's almost over. KIDS!! COME HERE!!........watch this, wait for it..

Got it!
And I didn't have to fire a shot. I move fast for an old wreck. That arm had a good trigger finger on it and I couldn't afford to lose it.

Anyone going to get that 15" blade at 26 ounces? That will carry compact for a khuk and really do some work.

Hell no. I'm staying out of these waters for now on.
I'm strictly tourist on the pontoon raft.
If I ever want to buy something here, I'd better bring a lot more gun.

Actually, Jai, I strolled into this post at 2:28. Didn't reply 'cause (after I beat you to the first post a few days ago) I didn't want you to think you were losing your touch. :p It's that preservation of a friend's self-esteem thing, ya know. ;)

BAS is coming home to me. Thanks Yangdu.

The WWII was my late Christmas present.

The BAS is, well lets call it my early birthday present.

Good job grabbing the BAS. I was really thinking about it, thanks for saving me. :)

leduc750 made a wise bid if he gets it. I liked that BDC. It will delimb a fallen pine easily.

Just because I know 18" and 28 ounces is a great all around number, doesn't mean the 36 ounce khuk wont hit harder.
You could still carry that afield. Nice rig.

It is nice. Vim seems to like them a bit heavier. I have one like this from him at 31 oz. with an antler roll, and it is a pleasure to use. This one would power through just about anything. Very pretty antler on this one today.

You know, I just checked my own BDC; Montana Antlered wonder by Bura that it is, and it also weighs 31 ounces. (It actually hovers between 32 and 31 with the nuance in this evening's atmospheric conditions tilting in favor of 31. I learned long ago gun powder measures differently in room temp and humidity changes.)

I like my BDC a LOT. It's built stoutly, and with the large handle could easily handle more blade weight and maintain a pleasing balance. I'm intrigued by the 36 ounce model and would love to see a chopping review.

I got my Karda today! It is a very nice blade and I think it's a bit of a sleeper. It just seems kind of small in the pics, but when you get it, it is quite substantial and seems up to good work!
