Thanks for the picture... Its actually not a villager kukri. Its has villager fit and finish level of finish on the blade. HI calls non polished blades "villager fit and finish". The villager kukris are the KLVUK and DBVUK
The true "villager" model kukris have a much thinner profile than regular kukris. They also have blackened blades from the heat treatment. Most are under 25 ounces. I have a DBVUK that is 16.5in 23oz and a KLVUK that is 15in 20oz.
You can call it what ever you want my friend. I just got a little confused. It is a amazing piece not matter what you call it. I love the guard and the blood red wood color. You got a prize there friend!
