Deals for 3/22 -- Pix and four beauties

"Full tang Dui Chirra by master Kami Bura" Done deal! Wahoo finally got one! I'm all set for my jungle expedition to find the jade monkey before the next full moon!

Billy, When you open that box, it will be just like the first time. The Berk Special Dui Chirra MAY be the ultimate khukuri. I'm crazy about my YCS, and the Foxy Folly was amazing, but it's hard to equal the presence of the 22" dui chirra. The full tang should make it a "no worries" chopper, and those 2 big fullers are gorgeous!

Congrats!

Done deal on the 16.5" WWII. This is my second bone handled HI Kuhk and it looks like a winner. At 26 oz it has the weight to be a real chopper. By way of comparison, I have a 16.5" AK Chiruwa that only weighs 24 oz.

shu....horn....bwray....horn.....

I do like that shape....looks like a thick edge with shallow fuller.

The trick is to get your shu on without slicing your heel off. :p

Dui Chirra came today all I can say is WOW!!!!! What a gorgeous blade. What type of blade should I slip in the back pocket? I think I need a shoulder strap for this one. I love it!!! I don't think I could ever bring myself to actually use it though as terrible as that sounds. lol

i keep sending you my address to send my blades you sharked... but you don't *cry* no love me *pout* ;)

me? i'd just admire it for a while. swing it around some, maybe find some boxes... then i would craftily touch anything up that needs touching, oil, sealing, polish... and wire it to the wall. i wouldn't use it... probably... to purty - which means that i might not buy it right away; users first. have a lot of those. i'm thinking of thinning the herd.

that 20" AK - that's a user :)

Got my 16.5" WWII as well. Feels real good. Used the belt sander with 600 grit to bring the edge back to the highly polished blade. Later tonight I'll finish it up with ceramic and steel rods. This may turn out to be a favorite in it's size class. Will report later after I've had a chance to use it.
