Deals for 3/22 -- Pix, VIllager YCS and Tarwar

I have a relatively recent YCS of that same weight and length and I USED to have one of the same length that weighed in excess of 2 lbs.

BY FAR the 17" 24 oz one is the user!

Picked up the YCS today at the post office. I'm glad they didn't just leave it at my door. Insured mail is great!

So I did the Wack Test and then did some chopping on the tree stumps in my yard and I have to say... This thing can chop! The handle was more comfortable than I originally thought it would be. My hand fit perfectly around it. I could tell my grip wouldn't fatigue with constant use. The biggest factor I think was the weight and shape of the blade. It was much lighter than the Mccurdy and I felt it would be much safer for me to bring it up on my hill to do some light chopping. This thing is definitely going with me on the next outdoors trip.

As for the quality, I think I now know what an HI blade is all about. The thing is near perfect even with it's small imperfections and I mean small. The blade is beautiful. So anyhow... I have the bug. Must have another..
