Have a great weekend!

That Tin Chirra sure is sweet. May the force be with you on this one Gurka:)

Thank you very much, the force was with me today. Done Deal! I have three Thamar pieces now. A Dui Chirra, Chhetri style, and now a Tin.

He is my favorite and its hard to resist anything from Thamar Kami.

Thank you Gurkha, you just saved me some money and a beat down. The temptation would have been too much for me on that one. Beautiful.

Nice, nice! Good grab!

I am really curious and please post if you have the time, when you get it, where is the balance for both these pieces. I'd like to compare with my piece.

Sure now problem. This one is a little heavier than my Thamar Dui Chirra which is 17in 23oz. The Tin Chirra here seems to have a radically curved grip which I prefer. I will post pics of all this one and the Thamar pieces together. He might not be the best polisher but he sure knows how to build a solid, and extremely well balanced kukri. His blades balance and fit the hand better than any other kami. Purna is a close 2nd with his grip design and comfort.

I love Thamar, he did a very nice job on my curved spine which incidently is gooder that Bookies. Beautiful job.

I'm not sure the kami himself even does the polishing, might be different fella, don't know for sure.

Whoever did my curved spine did a fabulous job of polishing too.

Gorgeous offerings today... Ems on Tin Chirra

OH NO!!! You Dog!!! Add me to the "saved my arse" club! Man were gonna have to get us a bus or something if this club gets any bigger! Reno or bust! I aint got nothing to say about that Thamar cept...I aint saying that here:rolleyes:

it is a great knife with a pistol grip style, nice dark grip!

kumars and the others are nice too, but we all know thamar is flexin

And flex he does. Did you ever see his picture? He looks like he bench presses Oldsmobiles! Def a fan of the darker wood too. Those fullers look crazy good, can't wait to see the distal angles and that cho close up.

I thought the weighlifter dude was Purna. Don't recall seeing a picture of Thamar but sure would like to.

Yup Gurkha was right, I forgot that picture. Thamar is the weight lifter. Like him even more.

What buldging buldges's he has.

Now there-there, Mr. Bawanna, no need to be ashamed. We will all get old and start forgetting things once that happens.
