that stick knife would be perfect for the land clearing i have to do. Oh well, not today.

My lord, what an awesome JK. I just stumbled in here just as the post went up. Got to leave for my hike, which is okay 'cause I don't have any money to spend anyway.:o

That stick knife would be good for land "cultavating", maybe it was originally a plowshare.

Jake - The stick knife *is* perfect as a clearing tool...one good swing and you can clear a mass of branches. A benefit is the flat end...as you work around the limbs, your angle isn't always perfect. The sharp edge is protected from ground contact and the blunt top edge is impervious to contact damage.

Whoever got it...PM me if you'd like to compare notes on it's use privately.

What happened to all the strange people who said they wanted a Jungle Killer?

I, for one, am not strong enough to use both a "Munk Cleaver" and one of these monsters.

A Rhino!

Hopefully, by the time the next R7 all-wood handle Skinner shows up, I'll have the funds to get it...

Email sent on Jungle Killer, I realy like the stick knife too, the ultimate machete and prying tool.

I REALLY like that sheath on the one.

One thing that keeps me from taking khukuris backpacking is even with the weight of a kydex sheath it is still heavier than an hatchet with a head cover.

Something like that might cover the edge of a khuk more lightly than anything I have seen.

Medbill;
That JK was 35 ounces, three more than yesterday's. (they're growing)

Yer not supposed to water them after midnight ya know...

I believe this Stick Knife is *lighter* than mine...probably because of the brass butt piece it has.

Well, I have one of about every HI model, even ones with somewhat limited utility, but this is one I just would never use personally. Others MMV. When I think of a jungle knife, I think of a 21" chitlangi, or 25" kobra, or maybe a larger sirupate. This is more of an elephant killer. ;) Plus the handle is wrong for me. I have enough truly useful HI knives to be picky about ones that don't look as if they would work as well.

That stick knife on the other hand looks totally cool, and if I had been here on time I would have given someone a run for it! Looks like a very clever useful design. Looking forward to hearing more about it. I like the sheath as well.

Regards,

Norm

Yangdu said she asked the shop to put a hold on more Raj designs for now, but I just wrote her and let her know there was a lot of stick knife interest and I thought she should keep those coming.

I want a stick knife too.

The Stick Knife bikini sheath *is* unique...a bit slow on the draw, but then, not many sticks have ever been able to sneak up on me (maybe I ought to study Bando after all).
