The BAS is a fine worker, I really like mine. It is my everyday khuk, rides in my "ready" box in my car!
The R6 knives are great workers, one of the best small knives in the HI lineup. Here is a pic of mine, after mods. -

None of the first ones had jimping; that is a relatively recent addition. There were several very pretty scrimmed antler ones that got as low as $55 and still never sold IIRC.
This model has only gotten better. Andy, that is some fine work on yours! :thumbup:
Glad to see the Sgt's BAS coming back. I snagged one 2 years ago, and as far as I know this is the first one since then. Great knife.
