you've already seen pix of my workers :) the baby dui chirra will cut mighty trees in one swipe! [also, in case anyone thought otherwise, i wasn't talking about the samser - someone else's toy]

and yes, pictures, performance art. i'm going to try making/teaching firebows/boards, chopping, cutting, and maybe atlatls :)

Buy the Udda, buy the Udda, buy the Udda. . . . . . the voices in my head are squalling like a cat with it's tail caught under a truck tire. Them Udda swords always hit me where I live, every time I see one it reminds me of a dusty village in Afghanistan, and an antique Khyber knife I picked up for a buddy who ain't with us no more.

Whoever bought that thing, good on ya, Rusty's missus needed the money. Just be advised, that blade has "magical properties" that the Afghans took deadly serious, and I reckon I do too. If you're alone with it in a quiet place, don't be surprised if you hear a whisper.

Dang, I'd get the Udda if my order from Valiant hadn't come in today. Darn!:grumpy:

Good snag Bladite! IIRC, that is the smallest dui chirra I have seen. The smallest I have is a 10" BDC, but that is a special one you got today.

And the pens are getting bigger; that is the first one over 15". Almost looks WWII-like.

I may be wrong, but I believe that is only the second 17" Samsher made. The first was offered by Uncle Bill maybe 18-20 months ago, and was the first Samsher ever offered. Great knife.

(Correction: just checked. It was the second one ever offered, and Uncle did not refer to it as a Samsher, but as a "Sgt. Karka Special." It was offered on 12/13/04 and snagged by Hollowdweller. I got the first one a week earlier. All but the first and second have been 18" or 18.5" until now, but this one is definitely the lightest. The Sgt.'s stuff is the best!)
