Can someone please elaborate on "Hanse?" I'm not familure with that model. I looked at the HI site under special runs and new models but didn't see anything. I also searched the forum but found no mention of it.

It looks like a sirupate or what is sometimes described as an eastern Nepalese thin village blade. Is this intended to be a village type user, a combat blade or some other special purpose use?

I believe Aunty spelled it differently on this DotD. Look up "Hanshee" and you should get some results

I must admit that I would LOVE to see a larger version of that Bowie (say...typical bowie size, 9-10 inch blade...well you see what I'm gettin' at)! The design looks very cool AND practical!:thumbup:
