E-mail sent on the WW II (?) by Bura.
Not the typical HI WW II. Looks more like the Bojpuri khukuri.
I like the pointy tip, the long handles, the lighter weight, the satisal wood.
The craftsmanship of Bura is the topping.:)

Now, just crossing fingers.

I got the sword. It will be a nice addition to the "family." I have generally shied away from non-khukuri blades here, but I decided to take the plunge on this one. I really like the engraving. I am sure it will receive a positive reaction from my boys (for them, weapons = cool). :D

I love those YCS Kardas, but have 2 that size already. Great knife for that price.

I'll say! The first ones were twenty or thirty bucks more in that size. Super deal. In fact for that price they would make great gifts. Shop early for Christmas!

Good snag on the sword Eric. I have two Manjushris but have never been in the right spot for a Dukti. Someday!

I'm also not surprised that WWII went so fast. That is the first one that caught my eye on today's deal. Nice variation of the classic WWII. The handle sure has some luster to it; more so than normal. Looks very nicely polished.

And $50 off on that Attitude! Great stuff today.

My son has a Dukti what a nice sword he keeps it on display it was a gift for his graduation last May. Though I almost kept it for myself ;)

The Ycs works great now I have a set of the same wood handle one in 9 11 and 14 inch. It will give me something nice to look at when the wife leaves over my buying to many knives!

I found an interesting thread from the past in which the Dukti Sword was compared with the Roman Gladius:
Eric
