Father is feeling good after surgery and he said I can't wait to go back to work make new handle for small knife.

That tamang was tempting, looks like a BA blade! Seems to be a sweet hybrid between Khukuri & Bowie? Curious how it feels in the hand?!

More forward balance than kukes. I just push cut paper with it, scary sharp! The bamboo handle soaked up a good bit of oil, and it is much darker now. I plan to get her outside for some beauty shots tomorrow, but here is a teaser before i tuck her in to bed.

The Tamags are remarkable, if you don't have one, seriously, get one, you will not be disappointed. They are real workhorses, but can be really effective as a weapon if needed.
