Love that karda and chakra set - if only the khuk had been a lighter one it would have Ben mine!
Won't last long, this one.

EMS for the YCS by Kumar. I have caught the bug bad!!!:D (and I have some special orders inbound in the next few months from Auntie:eek::))

Update: Deal done.:)

I think so too. Tell me something folks. What's that blue streak on the M-43 blade?

It's probably just a reflection. These blades are always hard to photograph with natural light.

Great score.....I love the 43.:)

More than likely a reflection, it's a bit hard to get clear shots of the finish on these knives since most (even the villager fit and finish models sometimes) seem to be mirror polish of darn close.

Great score on that YCS!

Just hoping that isn't a heat treat issue. This one will be a dedicated real worker when I get it.

I'll be flabbergasted if there's a heat treat issue on it.

I've put my khuks from HI to hard use, and you get a real feel for each kami's personality through blade balance, shape, and above all else - how they temper their blades.

You'll love it.

I just got the word. It's mine, and I'm looking forward to having it. This is the HI Khukuri I first wanted. About 10 HI blades later, I now have one, and the size I wanted. Thanks Auntie. I'll use it for years, believe me.

Congrats! The shorter(feels so wrong to say that for 15" long blades!" Models are fantastic backpacking khukuris.

You'll get a Lot of use out of it.
