That is an incredible AKB. As a long time fan of the knife, I have to say the current production is some of the finest I have seen. The fit and finish of the current crop is very well done. I also like that I they are showing up more often in wood.

That said, I think the Farmer knife might actually knock the AKB off my list of favorite non-khuk knives in HI's line up. The ferocious basic nature of the knife just oozes character.

On the flip side, that Vojpuri is a very stylized and impressive knife:thumbup: Kind of reminds me of Klingon Buck 119 or something:D i like that one a lot.

I hope so. I have been chasing a M43 so hard that I don't know too much about this one. It looks awesome though. I am happy right now.
 
Padre Thomaso you'll grab one soon enough. The Ganga Ram is a great khukuri to shoot for... the "Magic Khukuri". Welcome to the Forum and better sharking next time.

I love that villager farm knife, if it's still available tomorrow I may have to check my monetary options and get it. I've been very impressed as of late with the respect and love people have for HI products, and that knife definitely looks like a useful blade to add to my toolset.

Thanks stickfred I am really looking forward to this one. I have a Kerambit and a non-HI Khuk so this really is my first Khukuri. :D

Wowza - I didn't realize this one hadn't been accounted for! :eek: Rather surprised really - I guess the more prominent sharks must be kind of broke as a couple DotD items haven't been selling as quickly as usual.

That said, please post back to let me know if you get it! I'd feel rather honored if my design ends up as someone's first introduction to HI :o. I'll be getting mine in a couple days and, time permitting, I'll be doing a small review (probably simple pics at first with actual thoughts on usage later)

I had been keeping an eye on that thread when you posted up that design and I just felt compelled to get one, I already missed the opportunity a few times, so I figure since it hasn't been snatched yet this may be my lucky chance. If I get it, I definitely plan on putting it to some good use in Big Bend or somewhere around here in the Texas hill-country. Who knows, depending on how things go, I may choose to take it with me around the globe over to Burma with some foreign aid work. (I may be Navy, but I could see pulling a Rambo)
