Deals for 8/23--Pix, Ram Lal Gelbu special, Kerambit, villager and great buys

My friend has a Ruger Mark IV with a ten inch Bull barrel, scope, and laser site. That is way too much fun to shoot. We were shooting those little steel flip up targets one day and I noticed that when they were in the down position there was a little dime sized tab that stuck out on the bottom when they were down. Instead of going up to reset them i told my friend one time to stay back. Ill reset them from here. WTH he said. I hit all ten of them and reset all of them without having to walk the walk:D Loved that 22! That Bull barrel is just about impossible to find nowadays. I got to get me a 22 again someday.

I used to have the eight inch bull barrel. I should have never let her get away.

I'm a .22 freak. If I had to honestly answer what my favorite cartridge is, I'd have to say the .22LR. I don't know how many I have but, there's been many neat ones made for over a hundred years. One of the neatest is a H&R Model 65 Leatherneck U.S. trainer.

Ruger 10-22 by far my fav!!
Ammo still scarce here. Curious, is anyone seeing supply improving?

I have my first 10-22, it's 50, one of the first ever made. Darn near wore it out, sent it to Clark's to be made over and tweeked.

I've never been affected by the .22 shortage. I bought several cases each time I went to Camp Perry. Likely somebody will inherit what might be left over.

Recieved my Gelbu Special and am very pleased, an eligant blade.

Well I have no doubts you will be happy with your purchase sir! The Gelbu Special is really a unique and ingenious design. It blends the chopping ability of an Ang Khola with its obtuse edge and the speedy light weight of a slashing Sirupati with its graceful lightening fullers all in one blade. Its designed for speed to achieve its ultimate task of blowing chunks rather than weight for bulldogging chunks. Seems counter intuitive but Mr. Gelbu dang sure did some Khukri defying dynamics and did it so well! His design will live on for good reason. ENJOY!

Supply has improved here in the northeast, they were hen's teeth but now you can get a brick from time to time at the big box stores again. Not like it used to be, but hey...
Great suggestion with the Necco wafers, guys.
I picked up a Savage/Anschutz Model 12? used, shoots sweet.and an old Ruger MK1.. .22lr is great.

I love ndog's Gelbu. That's my only big one, I've got a 20".
Yours has a nice long handle! That's what sucked me in.
I haven't gotten to use mine as much as I would like.
I recently used a 12" Pacthar for some finish carpentry! I had to trim out some studs to let some ductwork through! Worked better than my hatchet for shaping the round hole in the novelty siding too!

The Gelbu is an amazing, powerful blade.. It makes me want a 18" too!

I took it to a friends BBQ to show him, he admired it and had me cut up the watermelons!
It was like a stick of dynamite went off in the watermelons they just exploded - I swung not hard at all because I didn't want to hit the table underneath but they just flew apart like they were possessed!

Thinking about this blade in action is pretty darned scary!
