Uncle Bill was cool.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident."

No one's taken the 3 lb giant yet huh?

Waiting till tomorrow. No takers, I'mma flip a coin... ;)

May not be a keeper but worth a trial.

(waits for Kuk to SPRING!)

if you do cave in, I'll be plenty interested to read your impressions, and perhaps see pics of any resulting devastation. That thing's a monster! It's the Ivan Drago of klewang!

I'm going to have to decline getting the Indo-sword...
there's been a dispute about payment at work... and the coin flip says heads (=no)

WOW!

Got the M-43 today and only had a few minutes to examine it but it is an AWESOME hunk of metal. The workmanship and fit/finish is OUTSTANDING. The balance and handle both feel PERFECT and the blade is extremely sharp and near FLAWLESS.

I am sorry for using so many superlatives but I am really impressed, and surprised that for a hundred bucks I was able to get so much knife.

I guess I was expecting the M-43 to be more of a workman type of blade like the two I had previously purchased from H.I.; a Pen Knife and a WW II. Both of these are good blades, nicely put together, and are good solid workers. And I would have been very happy if the M-43 had met these same standards.

But this M-43 is a easily a coupla notches higher in all regards, albeit, I haven't put it through a workout yet. If it performs anywhere near as good as it appears, this thing should really excel.

Brizbane. That M-43 will ruin you for anything else.

I agree. Funny thing is, I actually don't want a sirupati, or kobra, or ang khola anymore. I've had them, liked them, and then the new guy came along. The M43 is my buddy.
