looks like a scrum for that bowie. :D

They obviously need to keep making them!

Previously I hadn't given the Annapurna Bowie much thought; but today this one appealed to me. It looks like a three man race if there isn't any stealth sharking going on.

I've been wanting one for a while, but I am always way late to the feeding frenzy. Oh well, patience and persistence...

How's it not mine?

Cuz it depends on whose email arrived first, not who posted first on BF.
And this looks like my lucky day - just got an email from Yangdu.
Thanks very much!
I have some brush clearing to do!!

And fwiw, I sent the email before any other emails were visible on this thread, so was not trying to outmaneuver anybody... just excited that I was actually in the water when the chum hit ;)

There's a DotD sticky at the top of the forums that explains all this. Systems aren't "crocks" because the participants are ignorant of the rules. Just sayin....

Btw, looks like my first HI is going to be a 10" CaK.... LOL. Start small and work up I guess :)

You're joking! So I post first, I PM first, and it's not about either? What a crock.

Your first DOTD is a big deal, and also a learning process. But there's set guidelines clearly written out in the DOTD thread. It's a very easy concept that takes five minutes to learn. Email yangdu your order, shipping info and intent on payment, and then notify in the thread. It's really not difficult. Now you know... I think popularity for these Annapurnas are rising so I would expect more to show up. I understand the disappointment but at the same time... the rules are there.

Good snag. Those little CAKs hit way above their weight class. I had a 12" CAK that I loved, but Cynthia claimed it and I haven't had my hands on it since. Good to see another local here.
