I really like those little 12" AKs, had myself a sweet villager version. Really squared away little khukuri, I even made a custom karda and chakma for it. It's in Iraq right now, being toted by a young soldier friend of mine. Maybe when he makes sergeant, I'll get him something bigger. ;)

That villager BGRS has by golly "got the look". Somebody snag that thing, or I am going to have to. :D

A balance model is so named because the blade will balance on it's edge, and not tip side to side or over. Very nice handling khuk.

Wish I could get behind those little ones, I have had 3 of them (no villagers though) but they were all a bit too small for my hand so passed on to others.

I can't believe these prices! $20-$25 off the big Balance, and $85 for a beautiful sisau wood Attitude arguably could be $50-$60 more!

Been quite some time since I have seen a UBE or a Garud Ang Khola up for sale. The Ganga Ram and the YCS are a down right steal at this price.
 
Wow, thanks Munk, sounds like a well made piece, and appears attractive as well. I hope I don't regret choosing the villager over it, I couldn't afford both.

Darn - out sharked on the Gelbu. Second-choice ganga ram was also claimed, so I have a pretty little YCS Karda coming my way. Can't say I'm disappointed. :cool:

Whoever ends up with the Gelbu - we need to see a report!!! :D
