Yup. They both do. Just dug to the bottom of a, well, both Mallas do. :foot:
The accessory knives on the 25"-ers are really nice. People could/should/do make an EDC out of just them.
The Malla kardas have a real curve to them and a cho- just like their daddy.

Mike, this is really interesting. 3 years online and I just missed this. I guess our Malla's are slightly different after all, even though they were made at the same time by Kumar and delivered to Uncle Bill together.
My 25" has a regular karda only, not particularly large, but a decent size. No brass bolster and no cho.
The malla is one of my favorite models. I have several other 18-19" Mallas, and two of those also have regular kardas. Of the others, one has a cho, but regular bolster, and the last two have both the cho and a small dark brass bolster that I just missed. Ironically they are two of the first ones I snagged in 2004.
So I guess it may be the standard, but I just never knew that having missed it on my older models. (I hardly do anything with the kardas and chakmas, except spot check some for rust ocassionally.)
Learn something new every day. Uncle Bill gave me the choice of the horn malla, but I was getting the 25" chit in wood at the same time and wanted them to match. It has a nice stripy satisal handle. Sounds like Kumar did yours up nicely.
Thanks for prompting the research on this.
