Sassas, AK's by Sher have been few and far between, so it is neat that they are just coming more common now and lucky for you that you have 4 of them. I have several AK's and only three by Sher, one older 18", one a relatively rare 25", and a 26.5" Chiruwa that is really too big and heavy to use. Nothing smaller at all. The rest are by Shankar, Kumar, Bura, and Amtrak. Kumar did the old silver mounted AK's with carved handles, and I have those in horn and satisal and the new brass mounted one in chandan with red scabbard. You have the twin of that one in carved horn from the 8/25 DOTD. None of mine have traditional bolsters as far as I know.
I don't know why Sher is suddenly doing traditional AK's, but I am glad to see it, and he has done more AK's in the last couple of months than he has done in the last couple of years.
Regards,
Norm
