Yes, they are small but, lighting fast. More a weapon than a tool. Although, I've been called a tool. Not sure how it relates? :)

As BB stated, they are made from a used file. They are incredibly light, and very fast. They are more weapon than khukuri chopper.

I have two (well, actually 3, hopefully a fourth coming), a 12.75" and a 17", they are shown in the pic below, I showed other blades and a tape measure for reference:

Kinda concerned here, usually get a pretty quick reply from Yangdu on emails, but going on day 3 and no word back, anyone know if something happened?
 
I'm not aware of anything. I'll send an email and see. Sometimes people just don't get through. Internet can be selective sometimes I think.

Really hoping to score that 13" Reti, I always miss out on these deals, just caught it shortly after it was posted and emailed before the pics were even up. Kumar's stuff is always top notch, I didn't even need to see the knife!
 
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Yangdu might just be busy and it's still yours.

If it gets away this time these seem to come around once in awhile.

I was kind of hankering for the longer one but that was grabbed before my temptation got strong enough.

Ah, thank you! I resent my own email, just in case. Usually don't have any troubles contacting her so she probably is just busy.
 
Varrus, Yangdu did NOT receive your emails. I passed along your desire for the Reti in case it's still available.
I haven't heard back yet.
I'll keep you posted and we'll figure out how to fix this for the future. Strange you've got through before. Have you changed internet providers or anything recently?
 
No internet changes, she did get the email I resent today, I got the done deal today in reply. Thanks for the help Bawanna, appreciate it much! Now I just have to wait patiently for it to arrive, or as patiently as I can. Glad I checked here.

For Varrus reasons I think youll be happy with that Reti! I got me one about the same size. Man that is an incredibly useful blade! Sure makes a great carving knife. I use it to carve my atlatl darts and all kinds of light carving. Great blade:thumbup:
