Please STOP putting loctite on your #6 torx screws. Heck, I'd be happy if you'd stop using torx alltogether. But at least knock it off with the friggin' loctiting! Yeah, I'm talking to you, Benchmade, and you, Zero Tolerance...

add Spyderco to this list.
I don't have any locktite on any of my ZT's and I have a bunch.

benchmade is hit and miss. more often miss. i have a dozen plus benchmades bought over many years and only a rare couple were locktited.

I have not come across any ZT, Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw with Red Loctite.

However some Shiros use something that feels like red loctite but its clear.

Neither have I.....ever.
I also have a few Brous, CKF, Hogue, William Henry etc......no red Loctite on any of them.

A lot of Makers use blue Loctite on their knives and many consumers consider it a plus. Reason being that tiny stainless steel screws threaded into aluminum bodies don't have a whole lot of bite. Trying to over tighten one to keep it snug sometimes results in stripped threads. Or loose screws that get lost.
Easy enough to just heat the screws if you want to remove them...
