Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.

I own over a hundred knives that I could use for every day carry. Ranging in price from $20 to $1800. Many of them are Kershaw.

That said, my current favorite is the Shallot. Design, shape, size, function = PERFECT!

However, if you want to make my new year joyous, please...PLEASE...a higher grade version. Titanium frame and a high end steel. And maybe even a limited edition with mammoth ivory inlayed titanium frame and damascus blade.

Mmmmm....droooool.....

Dog Man

P.S. I *did* say please...

Down boy,.....DOWN! Kershaw folks are pretty busy.........

Besides,...... i'm really hoping my baby ZT 0200 gets born before your upgraded shallot. That's because at least yours exists already! Mine only as a personal "prototype" of sorts.

.....a factory version would be a popular EDC for a lot of folks, i'd suspect. ;)

...and then we can look for an upgrade of your fave............

I'd like a Boron Shallot!!!

Thomas has hinted to me that the Shallot could be the next Leek in terms of variety in materials.

Hey Dog Man, be patient my friend! I bought 2 of the Shallots, and I understand exactly where you're coming from...Ti frame, I'd settle for some G-10 overlays, S30V, ZDP...the imagination runs wild. It is the perfect platform for some high-end sprint runs, and I guarantee Kershaw's already got a few on the drawing board!

Joe's got a great thing going with his baby...I hope to see Kershaw do both in 2008!

I've just got a feeling we're gonna hear of some new great stuff from Kershaw in the near future.

LOL, we were betting on when you would ask for a Boron Shallot! :D

Definitely looking forward to seeing many variations of the Shallot, right now, I can't wait for that black version.

DM, thanks for your salutations and post.

I believe you will see many variations of the Shallot before it is all said and done. We're just working hard to get the first one's out. 08 will be a good year for the Shallot, no worries.

Yes you did say please.

How 'bout a mix of my two favorites? The Leek & the Random Task = The Random Shallot!

Well, I can dream can't I?

Sigh........:(

..........i'm sure it was just an oversight that no mention of what i'm looking forward to. :o

Oh,.......please,.......PLEASE???? :D

BTW,.....i haven't even seen a shallot yet,.......just went to the Kershaw site and it's not even in their product listing yet. Oversight? I'll be checking ebay to get a look............
