Dear ZT 0550

I had seen where they are coming out with a rehash of the 0551 with a black blade, as well as more variations of the 0561. I think it was on bladehq.

I recently added a 2nd generation 550 and sold my Piston. I love how rock solid the 550 is. It is also a perfect fit for my hands. It takes a bit to master opening a 550 quickly, but maybe I have been spoiled by so many flippers?

Nope not gonna happen... 0550BLK is what happened.... More variations of the 0560s were just pure speculation

Hear Hear!!! Chester, destroyer of dreams, crusher of hope... owner of epic blades has spoken........ Sadly :hopelessness:

I really want one. It is the perfect size and is a great knife. Love the thickness. Kind of strider like but kershaw's version:-)

I guess to each his own but I am with you, I love my 550! I am trying get a feel for my 0561 but it just isn't the knife the 0550 is to me so far and I think it may have to go in for some work...

Jim

Thanks Chester. At least now I can look to mod rather than wait for updates on something that's not even gonna happen. Sorry to stir things up on my end in the first place.

they really are great feeling knives all things considered. I'll have an elmax version next to mate with my Lion spy and make the new spyker :P

Need a photo here. I too love the 550. I have been known to have another knife in my pocket on the way out to the truck. And to turn around, go back in the house and exchange it for the 550. It has been in my pocket more lately than any other. I still cheat once in awhile, but she is my main squeeze.

Just waiting on one to arrive... they cost an arm and a leg here now thanks to the change in import regulations but once I handled one I "needed" one.... ;)
